3D Chamber Heating
The Proxy Core Kit uses Puffco’s patented 3D Chamber, a ceramic heating element that vaporizes concentrates from the sides and bottom rather than just the base. This multi-directional approach produces more even extraction and preserves delicate flavor compounds that bottom-only heating tends to burn off. The chamber in this version is also taller than previous Proxy generations, which reduces splash-out into the airpath during use.
Impact Airpath and Terp Pearl System
The Core introduces Puffco’s impact airpath design. Incoming air is directed to spin through the 3D Chamber as you draw, creating a vortex effect. Drop one of the three included ceramic terp pearls into the chamber before your session, and it spins with each inhale, spreading concentrate across the heated walls. The result is noticeably denser vapor and a tactile rumble you can feel during the draw. Puffco recommends terp pearls between 3mm and 5mm, with 4mm being the ideal size.
Puffco Connect App Control
The device connects to the Puffco Connect app over Bluetooth on both iOS and Android. Through the app, you can set precise temperatures beyond the four onboard presets, adjust session duration, update firmware, and customize LED mood lighting. The presets cover 490°F (Blue) to 545°F (White), but app control lets you dial in specific temperatures for different types of concentrates.
Glass-Free, Pocket-Ready Build
The Core Cup is made from anodized aluminum with a silicone foot, and the mouthpiece is flexible silicone. The vapor airpath flows only through the chamber and mouthpiece, so the cup itself never contacts vapor and stays cool in your hand. The full assembly measures 43mm x 43mm x 80mm, small enough to carry in a jacket pocket or bag without a second thought.

No. The kit includes the new Bluetooth-enabled Proxy base and is only compatible with that version. The original base will physically fit inside the Core Cup, but the mouthpiece will not snap on due to a different chamber collar design.
Do I need to use terp pearls with the Proxy Core?
They’re optional, but Puffco recommends them for the best flavor and vapor production. The impact airpath is designed to spin the pearl during your draw, spreading concentrate across more of the heated chamber surface.
Does the Core Cup get hot during use?
No. The airpath flows only through the 3D Chamber and mouthpiece. The aluminum cup does not contact vapor and stays cool to the touch.
Can I use the base from the Core Kit with Proxy glass pieces?
Yes. It’s compatible with all Proxy Collection glass, including the Pipe, Bub, Wizard, Ryan Fitt Recycler, and third-party Proxy-compatible pieces. The included Joystick Cap is specifically for this purpose.
What is the difference between the Core Kit and the Core accessory?
The Proxy Core Kit ($220 USD) includes the Bluetooth-enabled Proxy base plus all Core components. The Core accessory ($50 USD) includes only the cup, mouthpiece, and terp pearls for users who already own the new base.
How long does the battery last?
The 1680mAh battery delivers up to 15 sessions per charge via USB-C charging.
A 2-Year Limited Warranty is available for the Proxy Core Kit (Proxy Base only).
Getting the Best Results
Load concentrate along the walls of the 3D Chamber rather than the bottom surface for the best vapor production. Lighter, longer draws work better than hard pulls. Drop a single terp pearl into the chamber before loading. Using the Puffco Connect app, start with the Green preset (510°F) as a baseline and adjust from there based on your concentrate type.
Cleaning the Core
The silicone mouthpiece and ceramic terp pearls can be removed and soaked in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol. Do NOT soak the anodized aluminum Core Cup. Spot clean the cup only with a cotton swab dipped in iso. For the 3D Chamber itself, submerge in 90%+ iso for 20 to 30 minutes for a deep clean. Always let all parts dry completely before reassembling.
Who Should Consider the Proxy Core Kit
This device fits best if you want full-performance portable vapor with no glass to break. It’s a strong pick for daily use, travel, or outdoor sessions where carrying a glass attachment isn’t practical.
If you’re new to the Puffco ecosystem, you can start with the Proxy Core Kit and expand later. The base is backwards compatible with all Proxy Collection glass, including the Bub, Wizard, Ryan Fitt Recycler, Terrapipe, and third-party Proxy-compatible pieces from artisan makers. Buy the kit now and add a glass piece down the road when you want water filtration or a different draw style at home.
If you already own the new Bluetooth-enabled Proxy base, you can pick up the Core accessory on its own for $50 USD instead of buying the full kit. The accessory is NOT compatible with the original (non-Bluetooth) Proxy.
