3D Chamber & Joystick Cap
The 3D Chamber heats concentrate from the ceramic sidewalls, not from the bottom. That difference in heat distribution is what separates it from older chamber designs. Instead of one hot contact point scorching the underside of your load, the material is surrounded by even heat that works through it more uniformly. Terpenes and cannabinoids that would normally break down on a direct heat surface stay intact longer, and the consistent experience hits to hit reflect that. The Joystick Cap seals the heating chamber, directs airflow through the session, and makes loading with the included dab tool simple. The whole process is single-button.
Fast USB-C Charging
The New Peak delivers up to 35 dabs per charge, though battery life runs shorter at higher preset temperatures. Expect fewer dabs per charge if you’re running red or white regularly. A full charge takes about 2 hours via USB-C. The integrated battery life LED above the charging port lights up red when you’re running low, so you get a quick status check without having to click through a button sequence. No guessing before you start a session.
Swappable Glass Top
The included New Peak Glass 2.0 is compatible with all Peak and Peak Pro tops. That opens the full Puffco glass lineup and any third-party glass designed for the Peak base. Use it with water for filtration and a cooler, smoother draw, or run it with a dry top for direct dabs without water. Dry mode draws differently, and the vapor quality comes through less filtered, which some users prefer at lower preset temperatures. Vapor density and flavor both change noticeably between the two, so both are worth trying.
Real-Time Temperature Control
The New Peak uses an internal sensor to monitor temperature inside the heating chamber and adjust power output throughout each session. The four preset temperatures hold consistently from hit to hit. There is no app and no custom temperature setting on the Peak. What you select is what the sensor targets, from the first draw to the last. Boost mode is available mid-session by double-clicking during an active heat cycle, which extends the time and increases temperature for a harder finish without starting a new cycle.

The New Peak has four preset temperatures, each color-coded by the LED ring. Blue is the lowest setting: high flavor, low vapor production, best for terp-forward concentrates. Green is the balanced mid-range with solid vapor and good flavor retention. Red runs hotter for stronger hits and higher vapor production. White is the highest setting, built for maximum vapor and the strongest effects. Single-click cycles through all four. There are no custom temperature options and no Puffco Connect app on this device.
Does the New Peak work with the Puffco Connect app?
No. The New Peak does not connect to the Puffco Connect app. App connectivity is a Peak Pro and New Proxy feature. The Peak operates on its four built-in preset temperatures only. No Bluetooth, no custom profiles, no remote control. If app-based temperature control or the ability to finely tune heat profiles is important to you, the Peak Pro is the step up from the New Peak. At this price point, the Peak gives you core Puffco performance in a simpler, app-free package.
Is the New Peak compatible with Peak Pro glass tops?
Yes. The New Peak is compatible with all Peak and Peak Pro glass tops. Any glass designed for the Peak ecosystem fits the Peak base. This includes the full Puffco glass lineup. A Puffco carry case is available separately and fits the New Peak. Worth picking up if this device moves around with you.
What is the difference between the New Peak and the Peak Pro?
Both devices run 3D Chamber technology and real-time temperature control, so the core heat distribution and vapor quality are closely aligned. What the Peak Pro adds on top of that: Bluetooth connectivity, the Puffco Connect app for custom temperature profiles and session tracking, wireless charging via the Power Dock, the option to upgrade to the 3DXL Chamber, and a carry case included in the box. The Peak Pro also lists additional advanced features not available on the New Peak. The Peak skips all of that for a lower price point and a single-button experience focused on what works.
Can I use the New Peak without water?
Yes. The swappable glass top can be used with water for filtration or pulled dry for direct dabs. Dry mode changes the draw resistance and delivers a more concentrated flavor profile since vapor isn’t being cooled and filtered through water. Most users prefer starting at blue or green preset temperatures when running dry. The higher settings without water filtration can be harsh. Use a cotton swab by itself when the chamber is hot, and 90%+ isopropyl alcohol once the chamber has cooled down to clean the chamber after each use, especially in dry mode, where residue builds up faster.

How to use the Puffco New Peak
Performance Analysis
The New Puffco Peak is a clean, focused Puffco device. Load the 3D Chamber using the included dab tool, cap it with the Joystick Cap, double-click to start the heat cycle, and draw when the device flashes and vibrates twice. The 20-second heat cycle runs the same across all four preset temperatures. Start with blue or green for most concentrates. Move to red or white for larger loads or when consistent vapor production matters more than maximum terpene expression.
Boost mode extends the active session without starting a new cycle. Double-click during a heat cycle to activate it. Avoid running more than four consecutive heat cycles. The heating chamber needs time between sessions to stay in good shape.
For cleaning, swab the chamber with a cotton swab while the material is still warm after each session. For a deeper clean, soak the chamber in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol for 20 minutes once the chamber has cooled down. Never use water on the chamber directly. If you see response issues, clean the connection pin on the base with a iso-tipped cotton swab to clear any residue on the contact point.
