What the Peak Pro Link Does
The Link turns your Peak Pro into an e-nail for traditional glass. It connects the Peak Pro base to your glass rig through a braided cable, with your 3D Chamber or 3DXL Chamber attached to a banger at the other end. The Peak Pro still controls the temperature. You still use the Puffco Connect app to set profiles and dial in heat settings. The difference is that your vapor now travels through whatever glass you prefer.
This matters if you already own a glass rig you like. Rather than replacing your glass with the Peak Pro’s stock top, the Link lets you use the Peak Pro as a power source and temperature controller for the piece you already have.
Both 10mm and 14mm joint adapters are included. The silicone adapters fit over the banger’s elbow joint and seat into your glass rig’s female joint opening. If you own multiple rigs with different joint sizes, you can swap adapters without buying extras.
What You Need Before Setup
The Peak Pro Link does not include a Peak Pro or a chamber. You need both before you can use it.
Required (not included):
- Puffco Peak Pro base
- 3D Chamber or 3DXL Chamber (either one works)
- A glass rig with a 10mm or 14mm female joint
- Puffco Connect app (free, needed for firmware update)
Firmware note: The Link requires firmware version “AW” or newer. If your Peak Pro has not been updated recently, pair it with the Puffco Connect app and install the latest firmware before your first use. The Link will not function on older firmware.
Does the Peak Pro Link work with both the 3D Chamber and the 3DXL Chamber?
Yes. The Link is compatible with both. The 3DXL Chamber has a larger bowl and pairs well with the increased airflow from a full-sized glass rig.
Can I use the Peak Pro Link with the Puffco New Peak?
No. The Link is designed for the Peak Pro only. It will not work with the New Peak, Pivot, or Proxy.
What size glass rig works with the Peak Pro Link?
Any glass rig with a 10mm or 14mm female joint. Both adapters are included. The 30-inch cable gives you enough length to position the Peak Pro base next to most standard rigs without strain.
Is the Peak Pro Link covered under warranty?
The Link is covered for one year under the Puffco warranty.
Do I need to buy the 3D Chamber or 3DXL Chamber separately?
Yes. Neither chamber is included with the Link; this is the accessory upgrade kit.
Can I leave the Link attached to my Peak Pro when not in use?
You can, but the base stand is designed to hold the banger upright when it’s disconnected from your glass rig. Storing the Link on the stand keeps the hot end supported and the cable tidy between sessions.
The Link is covered for one year under the Puffco warranty.
Setup and Use
Remove the glass from your Peak Pro. Press the Link’s base stand into the Peak Pro base. Attach your 3D Chamber or 3DXL Chamber to the banger on the Link cable. Insert the connector end of the Link cable into the Peak Pro base where the chamber normally sits, and twist clockwise until it locks. Choose the 10mm or 14mm silicone adapter, then slide it onto the banger elbow and seat it into your glass rig.
Select your heat setting on the Peak Pro and start a cycle. Use the glass rig to draw, the same way you would with the stock glass on your Peak Pro.
The link cable should hang loose between the base and your rig. Avoid twisting or pulling it tight. You can wrap it gently around the Peak Pro base with enough slack to stay relaxed.
Cleaning
Swab reclaim from the 3DXL Chamber or 3D Chamber with a cotton swab after each session. For a deeper clean, use 90%+ isopropyl alcohol on the chamber and let it air-dry fully before heating again.
The metal elbow, silicone joints, and base stand can all be cleaned with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol. Soak the elbow and joints for 20 to 30 minutes if the buildup is heavy. Swab the contact points on the Link connector with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol.
Do not soak the entire Link assembly in alcohol. The cable and connector are not designed for submersion.
