Borosilicate handles thermal shock significantly better than standard glass. Running a session on a Peak means rapid, repeated temperature changes: a hot chamber, cold draws, session after session. That’s exactly the kind of stress that causes cheaper glass to crack or cloud over time. Borosilicate holds up to it, stays clear, cleans well with isopropyl alcohol, and won’t introduce any off flavors the way coated or chemically treated glass can.

The Soju Bottle is hand blown, not production-line manufactured. That means each piece carries its own minor variations in glass distribution, green colorway saturation, and the detail work around the red cap. No two come out identical. Empire Glassworks has been making heady glass attachments for Puffco Peak devices since the original Peak launched, and the Soju Bottle is one of the most recognized designs in their bottle series. The Soju Bottle filters vapor through water before it hits the mouthpiece. Vapor travels down through the percolation slits, breaks into smaller bubbles through the water column, and comes back up noticeably cooler and smoother than a dry draw. If you’ve been running the Peak dry or with a glass top that doesn’t filter well, the difference is noticeable.

Fill level is important here. Add water until the percolation slits are just covered. That’s all you need. Overfilling raises the water level into the vapor path and causes splashback, which pushes water up into the heating chamber during a draw. Chamber flooding degrades the 3D Chamber and creates connection errors with the base. Keep the water line low, just enough to cover the slits.

The Soju Bottle Peak attachment runs the same percolation setup as the standard Peak Glass 2.0. No diffuser downstem, no extra perc stages. The functional upgrade over the stock glass is mostly in the draw volume and experience. The larger body of the soju bottle shape pulls more air through the column and changes how the vapor looks during the session.
