PRO TIPS FROM THE COMMUNITY
- Check temp first, then load. The thermometer works best a couple of inches away. Once you’re in your ideal range (around 500°F is popular), flip to hot knife mode and go
- Wipe the blade after each dab. A warm Q-tip keeps it clean and helps it last
- Let it cool before capping. Give it a minute after use before snapping the cap back on
- Charge it like a phone. Any USB-C port will do. Wall chargers are faster than laptops
- Don’t drop it. The ceramic tip is replaceable, but better not to test that on concrete
